World War 2 Collectables

When the war ended with Germany's unconditional surrender on May 7, 1945 and Japans unconditional surrender on September 2,1945, it left a legacy and treasure trove of collectible artifacts. With so many different battles taking place in so many different parts of the world during WW2, there is a lot of different memorabilia available for those that collect it.

Hard to find patches, belts, helmets and so much more can really ad to a persons collection. It's interesting to know the history around the pieces in the collection and one can sit and imagine the events that took place surrounding a specific collectable artifact.

World War 2 was the probably the last great conventional war the will of ever been fought. With the dawning of the nuclear age, wars will never again be fought on that grand a scale.
